A boy gets bullied by some students. Ash and Misty manage to chase them away and learn they are members of Pokémon Tech school. Though Misty manages to get the boy, Joe, to learn that battles are different than virtual stimulations, a girl named Giselle appears. Not amused by her look, Misty challenges her to a battle to prove the importance of true battles.
